Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice have vowed not to speak to each other during Season 14 of Real Housewives of New Jersey after their previous decade on the show has been filled with explosive family drama. Now that they’re out of each other’s lives for good, other stories are being told.
In a new interview with The Wrap, Melissa and Rachel Fuda discussed the upcoming season and shared what the dynamic will be like without the Giudice and Gorga drama.
Things should be lighter for RHONJ 14…
Although Teresa’s fights with her brother, Joe Gorga, were always entertaining, the last season became too dark. Melissa agreed, saying fans were “sick of the family drama … and back and forth.”
As we’ve already heard from Andy Cohen and other cast members, including Margaret Josephs, Melissa said Season 14 “is not about that.”
“So, it’s refreshing,” she said before saying she and Teresa hardly speak to each other this year. “We kind of just did our own things. There were a couple events that we were together at, obviously, but very little to zero communication.”

The drama doesn’t stop with MelGo and Tre, though. Things between Margaret, Melissa, and Jackie Goldschneider also heat up. The former besties have been open about their falling out during the off-season, with Margaret calling it “disappointing.”
“I guess she’s not who I thought she was. But that’s okay. You know, things happen. I was very sad and disappointed,” she said.
Rachel discussed the change between the trio, calling it “upsetting” before seemingly making a shady comment toward Jackie. “… you get to know these girls, who they are, and you let them into your lives and your family, you spend time together, they become real, true friendships and relationships. And then when you start to kind of see the evolution of like, the wires coming off of who they are and what their morals are, it can sometimes be really disappointing.”
Melissa said something similar in another interview, saying the author had a “change of heart on a bunch of different things.”
