The Real Housewives of New Jersey is back for Season 14, and the drama is already boiling over. The season premiere featured tons of shocking revelations, including the news that some of the cast met before the Season 13 reunion to devise a plan to take down Teresa Giudice and her husband, Luis Ruelas.
Tre mentioned it during a sitdown with Dolores Catania in Episode 1, which aired on Sunday. “Frank told Luis that they all met at Margaret [Josephs’] house before [the Season 13 reunion] happened to have a plan to go against Luis and I,” she said. “So then after New York, my husband reached out to Frank, and they made up, and [Frank said], ‘I just want you to know that they all came up with a plan trying to take Luis and myself down.”
Dolores confirmed the meeting between Frank and the other Jersey cast members…
During Dolo’s Watch What Happens Live appearance, the reality star told Andy Cohen that there was definitely a meeting before last year’s reunion. However, she wasn’t sure what they discussed.
“[Frank] was invited to the, um — yeah, the meeting. Yes, he was invited to the meeting,” she said. “Was it to take Luis and Teresa down? I couldn’t say that. But I can say that it was a meeting before the reunion.”
Andy replied, saying he believes some of the Housewives talk before reunion day, but Dolores said she has never been part of those conversations.
“Not me. I have a theory: You cannot practice what you’re going to say before you get in that reunion because it throws you off. You can’t go in with it scripted, like, ‘Andy’s gonna say this and then I’m gonna say this.’ But conversations happen, yeah.”
During the season premiere, Dolores called Frank’s “meeting of the minds” completely “normal.”
“I think we all do it… with this group, it’s tit for tat.”
