Shifting alliances. It seems that Summer House Season 8 was monumental in shifting public opinion during the breakup between Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke. A lot of dynamics in that relationship came to light.
This is also true of the rest of the Summer House cast and their changing friendships with the former couple. And newbie West Wilson recently spoke about where he stands with both Carl and Lindsay.
West “spoke” to Carl “significantly more than Lindsay”
Fans will recall that West was cast as a friend of the former publicist. But the Missouri native now considers himself a better friend to Carl.
“Despite knowing Lindsay better prior to summer starting, I spoke to Carl significantly more than Lindsay,” West told People. “I’m still friendly with both, I have checked in with both of them, but by nature, we’ve hung out all the boys a bunch, and so I probably keep closer tabs with Carl.”
However, West felt that he is only now getting his friend’s perspective on the breakup.
“I was very much viewing everything through the scope of Carl,” the new Bravolebrity explained.
Having that first weekend to meet the rest of the cast without the presence of Carl and Lindsay was nerve-wracking, but ultimately a net plus.
“However, looking back, I do think it benefited me because I got to make every original friendship and interaction [without] Lindsay over my shoulder or whatever,” West explained.
Indeed, the rest of the cast felt calm in the house while Carl and Lindsay were in Washington D.C. for the Fourth of July. Why wouldn’t West pick up on the same vibes?
But the drama has been progressively building between the formerly betrothed couple. Carl just told Lindsay that his parents didn’t think they were ready for marriage.
Meanwhile, West has been wooing Ciara Miller all season long. Fans are wondering if their flirtation will last past the summer,
