Ariana Madix’s declaration regarding Scandoval has been made public. She detailed everything that went down as soon as she uncovered Tom Sandoval’s affair with Rachel Leviss.
Just when we thought we’d heard all there was to know about Scandoval, here come the legalities. With Rachel suing her former Vanderpump Rules costars for alleged revenge porn, more information is likely on the way.
But, for now, we have Ariana’s declaration. The suit revolves around the allegedly nonconsensual screen recording Tom took of Rachel. Rachel claims that Ariana potentially sent this video to crew members on VPR. As such, Ariana had to give her side of the story.
Ariana moves to be removed from Rachel’s lawsuit
On April 30, RadarOnline shared Ariana’s declaration. Her statement called for her name to be stricken from the suit. She claimed that she sent the video to no one besides Rachel. Ariana detailed the moment she found the video. She described how the phone was handed to her after it fell out of Tom’s pocket.
As for why Ariana began snooping through the phone, she admitted it “Was for reasons I still do not know.” She added, “Call it a woman’s intuition.” She explained that she noticed the odd nature of Tom’s text conversations with Rachel. “Text conversations … appeared incomplete because portions of them had been deleted,” the declaration went on.
Ariana’s suspicion prompted her to open the photo app, where she found the video. She reported taking two recordings of the video on her phone. However, she reaffirmed that she only sent a video to Rachel. Moreover, when she saw the recordings in person, she only did so in secluded areas – a bathroom stall and alley with Tom.
Ariana also sent a text message to a friend that seemingly confirmed her activity with the screen recording. So, according to Ariana’s report, no one saw the video but her, Tom, and Rachel.
Vanderpump Rules continues Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
