Alexia Nepola might be going through it, but she’s got plenty of girls at her back to help her. The Real Housewives of Miami cast has reportedly stepped up to offer some support.
Alexia’s relationship with her castmates is generally rather complicated. Well, perhaps not complicated. Put more simply: not good. Alexia seems to only consistently get along with Marysol Patton, for better or for worse.
In addressing her divorce on her podcast, Alexia received tremendous love and empathy from Marysol. However, according to Alexia’s report, Marysol wasn’t the only one to show up for her at this time.
Alexia takes the opportunity to shade Adriana amid the divorce
Two weeks after news of the divorce filing, Alexia made her first public appearance. She and Marysol co-hosted a drag brunch in Manhattan. As expected, Alexia addressed the elephant in the room. But despite the difficult news, Alexia was happy to report that her costars had been all too supportive of her. Us Weekly shared the details.
Even the toughest castmates for Alexia to get along with, Adriana de Moura and Larsa Pippen, offered their support. “That’s the beauty of our show,” she shared with the audience. “Even though we say things to each other that we don’t like, at the end of the day, when I need them, they’re there.”
She continued, “After my news broke out about two weeks ago, Larsa was one of the first ones to call me after Julia [Lemigova]. Everybody called me, texted me. They’re all there for me. They check up on me. Honestly, that’s what I love so much about our franchise.”
Despite the positive vibes, Alexia couldn’t resist a dig at Adriana. “Adriana will probably be nice to me next season,” she joked. “Adriana is the kind of person that … when she sees you up and happy and thriving, she wants to bring you down and she gets jealous of you. And that’s when she’s mean and becomes a hater.”
