The trailer for Season 14 of Real Housewives of New Jersey teases some drama between Teresa Giudice and her husband, Luis Ruelas. And if you are wondering if Luis seems like an upgraded version of Teresa’s first husband, Joe Giudice, you are not alone, my friends. But one of Teresa’s besties, Jennifer Aydin, has the duo’s back.
In honor of her husband’s birthday, Teresa shared a post on Instagram. “Happiest of birthdays to my amazing husband, the man I am endlessly grateful for!” she wrote. “I am blessed to have you as my partner in life.”
But in the trailer, cast member Danielle Cabral told Melissa Gorga about Teresa’s home life. “Teresa is distraught because, in the house, there is not a lot of calm,” she said. There were also allegations that Luis burned through Teresa’s savings. Yikes! “She’s not doing great,” Dolores Catania added. “Every time I talk to her, her stomach is in knots,” Jennifer remarked. It sounds like trouble in paradise.
Jennifer slams Teresa and Luis’ “haters”
But Jennifer had some kind words for the couple. She shared a video on Instagram of Luis’ 50th birthday dinner. His RHONJ co-stars Dr. Bill Aydin, Dolores, and Paulie Connell were all present and ready to party. Jennifer added the track Unstoppable by Sia in the background.
“Happiest Birthday to [Louie],” Jennifer wrote in the caption. “You and [Teresa] are truly the perfect match. To know you is to love you but not everyone gets that privilege,” Jennifer captioned the post.
She added, giving a nod to a lyric from the song, “Don’t mind the haters or the saboteurs — They always lurk…Instead, Just Remind yourself, ‘I win every single day!'”
Luis wrote “Love you guys” in the comment section. Teresa added three pink heart emojis. Teresa’s daughter, Gia Giudice, also commented. “Aww love this,” she wrote.
Season 14 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is set to premiere on Bravo on Sunday, May 5.
