Real Housewives of Melbourne Star Lydia Schiavello’s Son Jailed After Abusing Ex-Girlfriend

Lorenzo “Lozzy” Schiavello, the son of Lydia Schiavello, former Real Housewives of Melbourne star, has been jailed for abusing his ex-lover. And it’s not his first offense, either.

The 29-year-old painter pleaded guilty at the Melbourne Magistrates Court to the charge of “using a carriage service to harass.” He was sentenced to 28 days in jail.

Based on previous actions, it looks like he hasn’t learned his lesson when it comes to alleged cowardly attacks on women.

Not his first offense

According to the Daily Mail, in 2017 Lydia’s son spent 14 days in prison for breaching a community corrections order and stalking the victim. And it looks like this time, he had hoped to walk free on another community corrections order.

However, Magistrate James Henderson wasn’t having it. Additionally, he condemned Lozzy’s bad behavior. He said, “Mr. Schiavello, you must know that women are not your possessions to be harassed and degraded when they don’t reciprocate interest in you.”

It was revealed that Lozzy began a hate campaign against his ex-girlfriend and even posted nude photos of her on Facebook in 2015.

Despite that, he still managed to get her back in December 2022 after sending her several messages on Instagram. To be fair, the woman, whose name was withheld for legal reasons, realized her mistake right away and tried to rectify it, but Lozzy wasn’t having it.

“I will never let you go again,” he told her. I will marry you. No one else will have you, and you will be mine.” Honestly, it sounds like it was lifted straight from a stalker movie.

When she refused, he began stalking her on IG and kicked off a hate campaign anew. He harassed her over social media and set up multiple accounts to intimidate and abuse her.

Home life troubles to blame?

As if in defense of his bad behavior, Lozzy told the court that he was abused as a child after his father and his reality-star mother had split when he was just six.

His mom, Lydia, starred in Real Housewives of Melbourne along with Jackie Gillies, Chyka Keebaugh, Gamble Breaux, etc. Perhaps the strain of her fame and his parents’ failed marriage shaped his earlier choices.

He claimed to have struggled with drug abuse, too. However, none of that excuses his continuous habit of treating women badly. Because of that, during his sentencing, he was told he deserved nothing less than an “immediate jail term.”

Here’s hoping it helps him learn and change.
