Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent and Tom Schwartz may be good friends, but she denies their relationship goes any further.
When a fan suggested that Schwartz “secretly loves” her, Lala found the idea ridiculous. Her assistant, Jessica Walter, said she’s also picked up those vibes. But Lala just laughed off the possibility of any romance between her and the Schwartz and Sandy’s owner.
“Y’all are tripping,” she said. “I think Schwartzy’s terrified of me.” Oh, he’s intimidated by Lala. Scared. To. Death.
Just a good friend
In a Mother’s Day edition of her Amazon Live storefront, the Pump Rules star talked about her friendship with Schwartz and said he’s always “been really kind” to her.
“Whenever the anniversary of my dad’s passing comes up, he always texts. [My daughter] Ocean’s birthday, he texts. He got me a really cute bracelet that says Ocean’s name,” she shared.
“He just, like, reaches out in moments where, like, even other people who I’m close to wouldn’t reach out, and he does,” Lala added. Who knew Tom Schwartz could be so thoughtful?
A fan asked, “Gotta be real. How did you really feel about Schwartzy dyeing his hair platinum?”
“I did not love it,” the Give Them Lala creator admitted. “I was like, ‘We gotta purple shampoo it or something … This is not a good look.’ It was like brassy gold. I didn’t like it. When he went back to brown, I’m like, ‘Okay, you look really good.'”
“He looks good, lately,” the mom of one continued. “On Instagram, it looks like he hired a stylist. He, like, tagged a stylist today.”
Another commenter asked, “I heard [Schwartz] has a new beau. Is that true?” (Doesn’t the word “beau” normally refer to a man? That’s just awkward.)
“I heard the same thing,” Lala responded. “I think he confirmed that by saying that his ‘girlfriend’ dressed him for the reunion. She’s a youngin, too. I heard she’s, like, 24. Good for [him]!”
