We’ve been talking about how explosive Season 2 of Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard is, and now, the fans are demanding a reunion.
And they aren’t alone. Several cast members, including Preston Mitchum, said they’re hoping for one. In a post on X, Preston responded to the popular account Queens of Bravo’s post, saying Season 2 of SHMV has too much drama for there not to be a sit-down at the end of the season. “We sure better get one!” the reality star replied. “What y’all think?” he added before mentioning Bravo and Andy Cohen.
Summer Marie Thomas, who’s caused a bit of chaos by her relationship with Alex Tyree, also replied to Queens, saying, “Agreed! And we aren’t even halfway through.” Bravo, what are we waiting on!?
Other reality stars call for a Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard reunion…
The cast of Summer House aren’t the only ones asking Bravo and Andy to host an end-of-season gathering. Taylor Hale, winner of Big Brother 24, made her own post, saying she can’t get enough of the Martha’s Vineyard crew.
“I need @BravoTV to put some of that newfound budget towards a #SummerHouseMV reunion,” she wrote. “Give that show the attention it deserves.”
Jordan Emanuel, who ignited an argument with Alex Tyree during Episode 4 over his Season 1 beef with Shanice Henderson, replied to Taylor. “My girl!” she wrote before Taylor responded, saying she loves the show and is “rooting for your success.”
SHMV is one of Bravo’s few shows with an all-Black cast. The others include The Real Housewives of Atlanta, The Real Housewives of Potomac, and Married To Medicine. So, it’s important to many of the show’s fans to see this production do well. Kandi Burruss‘ Vanderpump Rules-style spinoff, Kandi & The Gang, also featured a Black cast but was shelved after Season 1.
The Grammy winner said in August 2023 that the show would return for a second season after a few months off the air. “A lot of you guys remember our reality show [Kandi & The Gang]; it will be coming back,” she said. However, we’re still waiting for the official news.
Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard continues on Sundays at 9/8c.
