Lala Kent has been falling out of favor with Vanderpump Rules fans for a few weeks now. Ever since news of her feud with Ariana Madix came out, Lala’s been on a bit of a downward spiral.
Reports suggested the two got into quite the fight while filming the reunion. Lala later confirmed this and has since been talking about Ariana pretty much non-stop. Her inability to stay quiet (unlike Ariana) has done nothing for her public image.
Add to the bad publicity the recent episodes of VPR, wherein Lala has been sticking her neck out for Tom Sandoval, and we have a recipe for disaster. However, according to Lala herself, she doesn’t care that fans are turning on her.
Lala encourages fans not to “waste” their time
On the April 8 episode of her bonus podcast, Lala told listeners, “You guys, I love you so much, but if you’re thinking about writing me some scathing – like, don’t waste your time, please. Do something more productive because I truly don’t care. Like, if you used to love me and you don’t this season, I don’t care. Sorry.”
“I don’t live my life based on what you think,” she continued. “I don’t know you. I love you. I’m sending you all the love. Good luck. Mwah.” It didn’t take long for the clip to make its way to Instagram. IG user @tasteof_reality posted the clip with the caption, “This is definitely not helping the court of public opinion, but I guess it doesn’t matter anyway ??”
IG users were quick to hop on the Lala criticism train. Bravo commentator @byewighellodrama commented, “She 100% cares.” Another Bravo fan account, @bravobuds, wrote, “Nothing says ‘I don’t care’ like disabling your comments.” Indeed, Lala restricted comments on multiple posts on her page. Granted, she could’ve done that for any number of reasons.
