Lenny Hochstein’s Lawyer Slams ‘Sad Attempt’ From Lisa To Disqualify Him From Case

More news from the Lenny and Lisa Hochstein divorce. Somehow, it feels like it’s been quite a while since these two had an update. Still, even without the updates, it would have been impossible to forget about their ongoing battle.

Especially for Real Housewives of Miami Season 6 viewers. Lisa had pretty much one thing on her mind the entire season – Lenny. Even though it was a little much, one could understand where Lisa was coming from.

Now, Lisa’s tried to take action against Lenny’s lawyer. A recent motion she filed argued that the attorney shouldn’t be allowed to represent him since he represented Lisa in the past. But Lenny’s team fired right back.

Does Lenny’s lawyer present a conflict of interest?

In court documents obtained by RadarOnline, attorney Lorne E. Berkeley said Lisa’s disqualification efforts were “founded upon unsubstantiated, unsupported, and meritless allegations.”

Berkeley further argued, “The motion provides no details of the alleged prior representation and consists of conclusory and bald allegations of ‘prior representation’ clearly failing to meet any legal standard let alone the high standard and burden required under law to disqualify an attorney.”

The lawyer represented Lisa and Lenny in 2015 against an interior designer and represented Lisa singularly in 2012 over a defamatory Facebook post. Of the 2015 case, he said, “Clearly, this representation is a subject matter which does not relate at all, let alone, substantially relate to the interest which are materially adverse the Respondent in the instant matter. As such, this representation serves as no basis whatsoever to warrant a disqualification.”

So, while Lenny’s lawyer worked for Lisa in the past, he argued that he “never represented” her “as ‘agent’ in any such capacity alleged in the motion or otherwise.”

The Real Housewives of Miami is available to stream on Peacock.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK LISA HAD A POINT WITH HER MOTION? OR SHOULD BERKELEY BE ALLOWED TO REPRESENT LENNY?
