The Thursday, March 28 episode of Summer House arguably was the first of Season 8 that showed Lindsay Hubbard in a sympathetic light. So much so, that even Paige DeSorbo, the publicist’s long-time nemesis on the show, was visibly moved by what she shared about her sex life with then-fiance, Carl Radke.
Until then, Summer House viewers were reacting to Lindsay’s frequent accusations that Carl had broken his sobriety. Upon further observation, it seems that she was referring to his marijuana consumption.
Perhaps there was room for both sides to argue their points. But when Lindsay revealed how infrequently she and Carl made love, it was clear that the Hubb House owner had a valid reason to be hurting.
Lindsay wanted “to get weird”
Lindsay spoke about her comments during the episode on the Summer House After Show, which aired Thursday, March 28.
“When I’m in a relationship, I want to have sex with my partner,” the long-time Bravolebrity revealed. “I want to get weird.”
Her Summer House bestie, Gabby Prescod, was also present for the interview and shared an unusual tactic that Lindsay told her she would try to improve the frequency of the sex.
“I want to give him more blowjobs,” Gabby recalled Lindsay stating.
“I was like, ‘Do it,’” the fashion editor said at the time. “I’ve never heard someone say I want to give a blowjob.”
In her desperation, Lindsay said she “would have done anything” to improve on the former couple’s standard of having sex “like, once every couple of weeks.”
The reality TV star made the shocking revelation to her co-stars Paige and Amanda Batula during a poolside chat. Lindsay also made the comparison that “their men intiate” while Carl didn’t.
Another disconnect between Lindsay and Carl was their openness to lovemaking. According to her, when they first started dating, the Loverboy employee commented on her being “more sexual” than he expected.
“I’m like, you’re just now figuring this out?” Lindsay quipped.
It’s the searching for an explanation after the fallout. Viewers can agree that there was a serious disconnect between the former couple. Could they have worked through their issues? Maybe, or maybe not. It’s all speculation now.
