There are always two sides to every story, and after getting arrested twice in one week, Christian Richard, whose legal name is Christian Dumontet, has a much different account of his recent incident with his wife Christine Quinn.
Last week, Christian was arrested for domestic violence after allegedly attacking the Selling Sunset star. During the arrest, the cops claimed he threw a bag with a glass object in it. Allegedly, he aimed the bag at Christine but accidentally hit their toddler instead.
Christine got an order of protection against her husband in the aftermath of the chaos. Allegedly, he violated that order which prompted him to get arrested a second time. Now, Christian is pushing back, and according to TMZ, Christine’s husband has filed for a TRO.
Christine’s husband wants temporary restraining order
According to the court documents, Christian and his legal team are seeking a temporary restraining order from Christine to help shield him from her accusations of domestic violence. He claimed that this whole situation was blown out of proportion by Christine in an attempt to embarrass him and get the upper hand in a divorce.
Although Christian was arrested for alleged domestic violence, his recent court filing paints a dramatically different picture than the initial police report. He admitted that he did get frustrated with Christine, but he denied throwing anything at her.
In his account, he said that he and Christine started arguing over their dogs. They aren’t housetrained so they’ve been leaving poopy little presents all over the house. Christian said he got upset with Christine for not taking accountability for the dogs, which prompted him to throw a trash bag at the wall. He said there wasn’t a glass bottle in the bag, but it was just full of old wash rags and paper towels.
So, where exactly did the story about the glass bottle come from? According to Christian, it was a made-up story that Christine relayed to the cops when they arrived on the scene. He accused Christine of filing a false police report and lying about the domestic violence allegations.
A judge has yet to act on Christian’s request for a temporary restraining order. In the meantime, Christine is reportedly gearing up to file for divorce from Christian. Regardless of whose side of the story is accurate, it sounds like a permanent split might be their best bet.
