Episode 2 of The Valley recently aired on Bravo, and viewers are beginning to see the cracks in Jesse Lally’s marriage to Michelle Lally.
The reality stars announced their separation ahead of the Season 1 premiere, and according to them, it’ll all play out on camera. “There’s a lot that happens,” Michelle told Entertainment Tonight about their drama in the first batch of episodes. “We’ve been together for a long time and married, but you get to see our real struggles. You’re gonna see that we have separated.”
Jesse and Michelle are committed to co-parenting their daughter, Isabella
Jesse and Michelle sent shockwaves through the Bravoverse when they opened up about their split ahead of the series debut. During a separate interview, Jesse revealed that their marital journey will be a significant part of this season’s story.
“The storyline of us working on our marriage is a big part of not only our personal life but also part of the show.”
“Unfortunately, right now, Michelle and I are separated, but we’re co-parenting, focused on Isabella,” he explained. “Michelle moved out recently, so we’re living just a few blocks away. You’ll see it unfold throughout the entire season this year.”
Michelle also said she was hesitant about living her life in front of the cameras. However, she felt it was ideal “to have people realize that they’re not the only ones that go through real struggles.”
“I want to show people that marriage is difficult and, you know, some people survive it and some people unfortunately don’t.”
“My only concern is Isabella. I hope that we will be best friends raising this beautiful girl. At the end of the day, that’s literally all I care about is the baby.”
Divorce Town in The Valley…
Jesse and Michelle aren’t the only couple headed toward Divorce Street on The Valley.
We’ve also been following Brittany Cartwright’s separation from Jax Taylor. The Vanderpump Rules stars revealed they’d taken time apart to focus on themselves and their son, Cruz.
Brittany said in a different interview that although there wasn’t infidelity, things occurred that made her lose interest in Jax.
“It was just not a happy feeling, and I was, like, losing my sparkle a little bit,” she said. “I started to notice that, and I think after I had my son, I woke up a little bit and it made me realize like he can’t grow up in this environment.”
However, the reality star said she isn’t ready to leave her House of Villains husband just yet. “I’m not really sure about that situation yet, but for right now, the space is much needed for both of us,” she said. “I’m just glad that I had the strength to finally take myself out of that situation ‘cause I didn’t think I would ever, ever, ever leave him.”
