Kim Zolciak has priorities. You would think they’d be things like saving every penny to eventually settle her and Kroy Biermann’s marital debts in the midst of their on/off divorce. Or, finding a place to live since their depreciating home is a wig-hair away from being yoinked by the bank. Or, taking some parenting classes so her and Kroy’s court-mandated parental evaluator observations go well. She also owes money to her divorce lawyer.
No one knows if The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Don’t Be Tardy alum is doing any of those things. However, we do know that she’s keeping up with her Botox and facial fillers. She posted a video on Instagram of her recent trip to a med spa.
Given her highly-publicized dire financial circumstances, the comment section did not go well for her at all. To the point where, she has now limited who can contribute to the aforementioned comment section.
Commenters ripped into Kim for Botox-ing while broke
Kim posted a video to Instagram following her trip to an Atlanta-based med spa on Friday, where she got facial fillers and lip injections. These vials and syringes don’t come cheap, so hordes of people sprinted to the comment section to roast Kim for getting expensive services while she’s in the midst of financial ruin.
One user said, “Really!? You are in debt up to your eyeballs and you are doing cosmetic work! Get over yourself.”
Another asked, “Where you get the money for this?”
“Your [sic] going to lose your house but hey priorities looking young in a cardbord [sic] box,” sniped another.
Someone else asked, “Isn’t that the purse you have been trying to sell?” referring to Kim’s recent attempt to sell off some of her designer stuff.
Despite the backlash, Kim initially seemed unfazed by the negative comments. She responded to a couple of the positive comments, discussing the shoulder injections she got and praising the Botox treatment as “life-changing.”
It’s worth noting that influencers often receive complimentary services in exchange for social media promotion, but Kim didn’t specify in her caption if this was sponsored content.
If she did get paid for this, hopefully she puts the cash toward her debts. Sensible decisions aren’t her strong suit though, so it wouldn’t be shocking if her next Instagram outing is a trip to the casino, with a pit stop at the 7-Eleven for some scratch-offs.
Kim’s on the next season of The Surreal Life, but the premiere date hasn’t been announced yet.
