Everything We Know about Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18

Thanks to the Real Housewives of Orange County, fans have been able to sneak a peek through the gilded gates of some of the country’s finer communities. Since 2006, the women of the OC have made sure to keep the juicy gossip pumping. Season 17 was a bit slow but showed Heather Dubrow moving to an even bigger home. Tamra Judge still alienating her friends. Vicki Gunvalson’s surprise visit and a devastated Shannon Beador over the breakup of her relationship. The sun is shining as a new season is about to come down the pipeline, so here is what we can expect.

Who’s returning for RHOC Season 18?

As of now, the cast of RHOC has not officially been confirmed. But Taylor Armstrong, who was a “friend of,” will no longer be a part of the show, which is fine with me because I forgot she was even on Season 17. However, a big break in casting came when Alexis Bellino was announced to return as a “friend of” for Season 18. Alexis has been filming in multiple locations, including a restaurant with Heather and Emily Simpson in January.

The former citrus queen is currently dating Shannon’s ex, John Janssen. TMZ reported that Vicki was brought back as a guest to confront Tamra. Vicki was also spotted having lunch with Heather and Shannon on film. Emily and Gina Kirschenheiter will also have an orange. Naturally, Tammy Sue will be back, especially since the Tres Amgias had a falling out. We already know there will be a newbie, Katie Ginella, because Gina has been caught getting into a fight with her while filming.

When will RHOC Season 18 premiere?

Now, this is just an educated guess since Bravo hasn’t committed to a date yet. But the Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18 won’t be returning to our small screens until late 2024. Filming picked back up the week of January 22, 2024, and is expected to continue until April. Producers will then take several months to splice and dice, AKA editing.

It doesn’t look like the cast is getting any major shakeups like some of the other franchises, but Bravo does seem to be trying to regain that nostalgic feeling by bringing back some heavy hitters from the past. If all goes to plan, maybe the network will keep bringing back some fan-favorite OGs to keep the show interesting.

Alexis is back alongside her new man

I really can’t believe we are going to rely on Alexis for Season 18 entertainment, but here we are. Shannon and John broke up shortly after Season 17 commenced filming, mainly because he wanted more privacy. The two had dated from 2019 to 2023, but they just couldn’t work it out. But within a blink of an eye, he was out and about dating Alexis; what a slap in the face. Alexis had been in talks for a while with the network regarding her return, but I bet her new man and drama helped her cause.

Understandably Shannon is pissed. The mother of three feels betrayed and blindsided, especially by Tamra, who seemingly supports the new couple. Heather and Tamra also flew together on a private jet with Alexis. I can only assume this made Shannon angrier. Alexis has also been very vocal on social media and even wrote in one story: “This man makes me know we can take this world on together. Haters… go away!” But I think it is safe to assume the haters, mainly Shannon, won’t be flying above this hot mess.
