Say hello to the new Larsa Pippen or hello again to the old Larsa Pippen. It’s hard to keep track, but either way, the Real Housewives of Miami star has reintroduced herself on social media and looks like she’s ready to move on after her split with Marcus Jordan.
Honestly, it’s not like fans didn’t see that coming a mile away, but still, I suppose saying goodbye to a two-year relationship, tumultuous as it was, does warrant a reintroduction to whatever new version of you remained.
Hello again
So, in her version of the proverbial ready-to-move-on statement, Larsa posted a sunny photo of herself on Instagram with the simple caption, “Allow me to reintroduce myself.”
While the gesture was likely more symbolic than anything else, it also creates a clear distinction of her wanting to carve out a new path moving forward. After all, an unnamed source did tell PEOPLE that the couple split because they were “moving in different directions,” so it’s not that surprising that’s taking the first step (and of course, it had to be on social media.)
The fans, though, weren’t as thrilled about this “new Larsa,” and the majority of the comments were scathing, including some that said, “For the millionth time” and “She’s about to snatch up a new ball player. One of them young dudes with a max contract.”
However, not all were bad, and some fans said they were sorry to hear about her breakup and wished her well in whatever came next.
For now, Larsa is trying to move on. She and Marcus have been together since 2022, but earlier this year were the subject of breakup rumors. They were reported to have broken up in February, although they quashed that rumor with a romantic Valentine’s celebration.
However, there must have been some truth to the rumors because, in the end, the relationship did come to an end. And it looks as though Larsa is ready to move on. Only time will tell if this separation is for keeps, although it honestly looks like it’s going to stick.
Here’s hoping they both find what they’re looking for now.
