Jax Taylor Has ‘No Regrets’ After Filming The Valley

Things in The Valley aren’t exactly how they seem. Jax Taylor and his wife, Brittany Cartwright, have been facing some challenges in their marriage over the last year. Although they initially denied things had gone awry, the former Vanderpump Rules stars eventually spilled it all.

During an earlier podcast episode, Brittany let it rip that she and Jax were no longer living together due to the conflict they’d been going through. Furthermore, both said they only want what’s best for their son, Cruz.

Since they announced their marital difficulties to the world, fans blasted them with accusations of faking it for the cameras. However, Brittany pointed to the trailer as proof that things were reaching a boiling point between the two for some time. In a new interview with the Today Show, Jax spoke about how life has been since becoming a father and whether he’d take anything back after filming the first season of The Valley.

If you’ve been keeping up with Jax over the last year, you know he took a few seasons off from being the villain and now believes he’s a changed man

“I feel like I’m always a bit of a work in progress,” said Jax. “I feel like I’m going to be a work in progress the rest of my life. That’s just me.”

He continued, saying that as long as he continues to work on himself and remain “very self-aware of who I am and what I do … that’s all I really can do.”

The Season 1 trailer showcased a few spicy moments between Jax and Brittany. In one clip, Jax seemed to ridicule his wife for showing emotions. When asked if he had any regrets about his behavior while filming the show, he simply said, “No.”

“Maybe if I was a little short with Brittany at times, maybe I can look back … But for the most part, no. I am who I am. Nothing’s really changed too much — that’s the problem. Nothing’s changed. We’ll see what happens after some therapy and maybe some medication. We’ll see where it goes.”

We’ll be keeping a close eye on you, too, Jax.
