It’s official! Filming has wrapped for Buying Beverly Hills Season 2. From Mauricio Umansky’s separation from Kyle Richards to the rumors swirling about his dating and partying post-split, his life is clearly in a state of disarray. Pair this with the varying conflicts seen at The Agency, his high-end real estate firm, and it’s clear to see that a lot has been going on since the cameras went dark on Season 1.
Things have wildly gotten hotter after Season 2 ended. This family’s unraveling faster than Danielle Staub’s 19 engagements. Also, if we could get Paris Hilton to film a snarky confessional about her Uncle Mo, we’d be Sliving. She won’t, but we can wish. As for what the viewers can expect though, and when, here’s everything we’ve gathered on Buying Beverly Hills Season 2.
When does Buying Beverly Hills Season 2 come out?

Mauricio knows how to play the reality television game quite well. Over on his socials, he’s already hyping things up, writing “Less than 1 week until Buying Beverly Hills Season 2 hits the screen — are you ready?!” For those who love a good binge sesh (it’s me, I’m the problem), you’re in luck. Netflix is dropping all 10 episodes at once, starting on March 22.
What do we see in the Buying Beverly Hills Season 2 trailer?
Last week, Netflix released the trailer for Season 2, and there’s a lot to unpack. Aside from his marital issues, his daughters will also hold weighty storylines. At some point, Mauricio’s going to retire, so it’d make sense for him to give one of his daughters the reigns at The Agency. Yet, he has 3 daughters working alongside him now, so who would be his top pick?
On this note, it’s asked “Who’s the heir to the throne?” In response, their colleague states “Last year, I would’ve said Farrah. This year, Alexia. She’s really stepped up.”
No worries, as Sophia got a shout-out too. In a separate trailer, seen just above this section, her sisters called her a “fearless force to be reckoned with.” They also joked that maybe she’ll be the one to take over their father’s company. Meanwhile, a managing partner, not of the Umansky bloodline, also wants the gig, and she’s making it known that should Mauricio hand the reigns down to one of his daughters, it’d be “business suicide.”
Yikes. Moving on, in addition to learning the family business, Sophia’s crush will also be a source of contention. We can see Sophia saying “You’re a liar” in his general direction. At this point, the employees started engaging in pettiness, and the trailer spirals downwards in deals gone bad narratives.
What will we find out about Kyle and Mauricio’s split?
The cracks in Kyle and Mauricio’s marriage have been growing wider with each passing year. On Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle discussed their separation a bit. However, it looks like we’ll be getting more intel shortly. This time, it’s coming from Mauricio’s vantage point, since it’s on his series.
In an official clip, Mauricio and Kyle’s daughters are all sitting around a table outdoors. Here, Mauricio’s comforting dad voice tells them “I had an amazing 26 years with your mom.” Revealing that he wanted to make things work, but that Kyle had a different take, he then began to stammer, outing Kyle as the one behind their split.
“So, you know, your mom came and she talked to me,” Mauricio began. He then retold his wife’s words “I think I need space…Listen, the rules are that, you know, you go out, you date, you do whatever it is that you want to do. I’m not going to be asking you what you’re doing. I don’t want you asking me what I’m doing. Like, we are separated.”
Around the table, his daughters’ eyes filled with tears. This one’s sad, and we wish them all the best moving forward. However, we are curious what else Mauricio might share in the episodes within Buying Beverly Hills Season 2.
Could The Agency see a downsizing?
These times are trying. I mean, not so much for the wealthy. But still, hard is hard. Kinda.
In a Sneak Peak, a stressed out Mauricio asks Kyle “Do I have to do layoffs?” He goes on to stress that “there’s 9,000 people being fed from business that is happening at The Agency.” Even still, he doesn’t want to fire anyone, as he loves his staff. As for how he will manage the economy stressors within his business, all we can do now is tune in to Season 2.
Will there be a Buying Beverly Hills Season 3?
Since viewers can watch all 10 episodes in one go, it won’t be long before the asks on a Season 3 start. While an official decision hasn’t been announced, we’re going to go ahead and say it’s a likely yes. As filming for Season 2 wrapped in July of last year, the cast will soon know if they’ll be needed to film for Buying Beverly Hills Season 3.
