On the latest Vanderpump Rules After Show, Jax Taylor had some choice words about Katie Maloney bringing up cheating rumors about him. It’s fair to say, he’s not a fan.
Jax wasn’t shy about expressing his dismay at how Katie brought up the aforementioned cheating rumors on the show. For her part, Katie claimed that it wasn’t like she sought them out. She kept seeing the rumors and only brought them up because of that.
Jax thinks Katie bringing up the cheating rumors is all part of her shtick
“Katie loves to f*cking just start sh*t,” Jax said. “That’s what she does. She sits at home, she plays on her, reads something on Reddit or some bullsh*t gossip thing, and then she’ll tell Scheana (Shay) and Lala (Kent) and start the rumor train.”
For her part, Katie shrugged and said she wasn’t singling him out specifically and would do the same for anyone she knew. “When you see blind items about people you know, you send them to people you know,” she explained matter-of-factly, and she quickly sent the piece to Lala.
Contrary to what Jax said, Katie also made it clear that she wasn’t actively looking for rumors about Jax and that she just happened to come across them.
“It was literally being posted to like thousands of people,” she explained. “It’s not specific to me or coming from me or created by me. Thousands of people have seen it. I’m not special,” she concluded.
What do the others think?
Naturally, the moment the rumor is out there both in the world and amongst the cast members, it tends to spread amongst the cast rather quickly. The VPR cast, and newbies from The Valley, fell on several sides of how they felt about the rumor. Katie, of course, believed them to be accurate.
Zack Wickham was pretty quick to defend him and said, “I can tell you, he is 100% not cheating.”
Kristen Doute felt the same, “I’m with Jax and Brittany (Cartwright) literally almost daily, and I’ve never heard anything and never thought that,” she said. “And I would be the first person to call them out if I thought so, and I would tell Brittany, but I never heard any of this until Katie, Reddit, than Janet.”
Ironically, Tom Sandoval seemed less than convinced as he watched Jax talk. Ironic.
In the end, Brittany didn’t worry about it as she worked to get to the bottom of the rumor. It turns out the photo of Jax and another girl being sent around was a woman he works with. And her husband was present, too.
In this instance, Jax appears to be as innocent as he claimed. Unfortunately, be that as it may, the couple are currently separation. Despite the possible end of the relationship, their focus is co-parenting their son, Cruz.
