Get ready for more Tyler Cameron! The former Bachelorette star is returning to TV, and this time, he’s slinging wood and throwing around his hammer. Amazon just announced Going Home with Tyler Cameron, a new home renovation show on Prime Video. The premise actually sounds pretty promising.
Obviously, there are a million home renovation shows, but this one stands out because it sounds like it will have a little bit of heart. Plus, who doesn’t want more Tyler on their screen? It’s part reality show and part docuseries, and surprisingly, this whole thing has been years in the making.
Tyler’s new gig
The synopsis for the show explains how Tyler lost his mother a few years ago and moved back to Jupiter, Florida to start his real estate business, Image One. The show will follow him and his teammates at Image One as they take on new projects and grow the business. It all leads up to a heartwarming remodel of Tyler’s mom’s old house. In a statement, Tyler revealed that the project has been in the works for the last four years. He called it a “labor of love.”
Tyler said, “This show has everything from heart and grit to family, friends, and personal challenges, and I cannot wait to share my beautiful hometown and all my favorite people with everyone.”
The series has eight episodes, and each will feature an exciting reveal showing of Image One’s latest renovation project. Even if home renovation shows aren’t your thing, your interest might be piqued by the confirmed Bachelor Nation cameos. Amazon revealed that Rachael Kirkconnel, Matt James, Jason Tartrick, and most importantly, Hannah Brown, will all make appearances throughout the season. Amazon pulled out all the stops for this one.
All eight episodes of Going Home with Tyler Cameron drop on Prime Video, on April 18th.
