Even though Trishelle Cannatella won The Traitors Season 2, her time on the show wasn’t without loss, as public opinion of Trishelle dipped when she pushed hard for Peppermint’s elimination. The RuPaul’s Drag Race star was subsequently the first to be banished.
To add insult to injury, Peppermint was a Faithful all along. With how hard Trishelle was pushing for Peppermint’s elimination, multiple online commentators wondered if Trishelle was coming from a place of bias.
Well, if Trishelle is to be taken at her word, she wants to work on herself and these potential biases. In fact, Garcelle Beauvais’ current beef with Dorit Kemsley couldn’t help but remind Trishelle of her own circumstances.
Trishelle says Dorit has things to “work out on her own”
Andy Cohen caught up with Trishelle on last night’s Watch What Happens Live. While together, he asked, “Do you feel like Dorit and Garcelle will be able to move past their issues and form a friendship?” Trishelle said it was a “tough” question. “I think that Dorit has some things that she needs to like, work out on her own.”
She continued, “Like, for me personally, I’m looking into going to unconscious bias coaching and, you know, doing classes.” Andy asked if she made that choice specifically because of The Traitors. Trishelle confirmed, “Yes, about things that have happened on the show. So, I think that Dorit could probably benefit from something like that.”
Trishelle went on, “And if she did, Garcelle would be completely receptive.” Andy, unfamiliar with the subject, asked if there was unconscious bias training available. Trishelle confirmed that there certainly was and that she was specifically looking for a “coach.” She added, “I think that everybody can stand to work on themselves a little bit.”
Both The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and The Traitors are available to stream on Peacock.
