Chelsea Blackwell and Jimmy Presnell tried to make things work after their run together on the Netflix show Love Is Blind. But, to nobody’s surprise, things didn’t work out for them.
During a chat with People, Chelsea explained more about her romance with Jimmy after he called things off with her on camera. “We dated for a few days after the breakup,” she revealed. “And it was a journey that we were trying to maneuver together.”

Fans watched Jimmy and Chelsea’s rocky relationship throughout Season 6 of the popular reality series. Their journey started in the pods, where their love for each other grew. However, things took a sharp turn once they were connected on the outside.
They argued incessantly during their stay in the Dominican Republic, primarily due to Chelsea’s admitted “insecurities” about Jimmy’s true feelings regarding her. “It’s hard when someone doesn’t believe how much you love them,” Jimmy said about their relationship. “And so it was just a constant battle of me reiterating.”
During the finale episode, Jimmy called off his engagement with Chelsea after she disclosed that he slept with one of his female friends. Despite the explosive moment on camera, Chelsea said she wasn’t expecting him to end things the way he did. “…that whole conversation … I was definitely taken aback,” she said after noting she didn’t see it coming “at all.”
The LIB reunion addressed the moment Chelsea spilled Jimmy’s tea. “She didn’t deserve that,” Jimmy said about his friend during the reunion. “She didn’t love hearing it … one of them is really pissed off at me for mentioning it.”
“I hated all this came out so bad, and I can take it; they didn’t deserve it,” he said. “I’d be robbing [Chelsea] if I didn’t tell her. I told her because I was planning to get married to her, and she needed to know every bit of me.”
