At the dawn of 2024, the Tres Amigas became only Dos Amigas when Tamra Judge broke off from Vicki Gunvalson and Shannon Beador, despite their scheduled Tres Amigas Live shows. Shannon & Vicki Live continues in its place.
Tammy Sue said she dropped out of the shows (and the friendship) because she “caught [Vicki and Shannon] talking behind her back.” Vicki claims the falling out was because Tammy didn’t think it was a good idea to promote drinking – arguably the Tres Abuelas Amigas’ only documented talent – following Shannon’s messy DUI.
Shannon and Tamra are currently filming Season 18 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, though it’s unclear if they’ve patched things up. But, we do know that Vicki briefly returned to film a Tres Amigas showdown. Vicki also just gave an update on her and Tamra’s relationship.
Vicki’s optimistic about being friends with Tamra again, despite their current feud
Vicki talked with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast on Sunday and gave an update on her current status with Tamra. “We’ll be friends. We actually just filmed a couple of nights ago, and she tells me she loves me.”
Vicki’s hopeful that the friendship’s salvageable. Guess she didn’t understand that she played the role of “turd” that comment Tamra made about being relieved after “taking the biggest dump of [her] life.”
“I don’t think we ever had a verbal falling out,” she noted, sharing that expressed stepping back from their friendship because she felt “hurt.”
In true Vicki fashion, she feels she “didn’t do anything” to hurt Tamra’s feelings.
“I think that time will tell if it’s real or not,” she continued.
Vicki thinks Tamra should’ve honored her commitment to the Tres Amigas show
Vicki claims Tamra objected to “condoning drinking” during their live shows in the wake of Shannon’s DUI. But even after they tweaked some lyrics about tequila to appease Tamra, she still quit.
“I’ve never condoned drinking and driving,” Vicki clarified, adding, “I just would never do that to my group. You’re a group, you’re a friend, you back each other, you do the right thing, you show up when you have a show planned.”
Shannon and Vicki were forced to move on and “revamp the show” before hitting the road again this week.
“We’ve got a lot still in the mix. It’s unfortunate that Tamra decided to pause herself. We’ll see what happens. As the shows go on, I think she might have a little bit of [fear of missing out]”
She continued, “If someone doesn’t want to do something, we move on, but it’s definitely going to be different without her on, and we’ve always been the Tres Amigas, so now it’s like Dos Amigas.”
Yes, tres minus uno is dos, Vicki. Thanks. Tamrat’s likely to respond to this any minute, most likely in the company of her two current amigas: Teddi Mellencamp and Emily Simpson.
