Rachel Leviss Slams ‘Icky’ Lisa Vanderpump for ‘Victim-Shaming’ Her

Ever since Scandoval, Rachel Leviss has been working to defend herself against everyone and everything. As the “other woman” in a months-long affair with Vanderpump Rules co-star Tom Sandoval, Rachel was the obvious villain.

Rachel ultimately decided to leave VPR behind but still faces criticism from her former SUR boss, Lisa Vanderpump. On a new episode of Rachel’s podcast, the Pump Rules alum addresses LVP’s recent comments about the revenge porn lawsuit Rachel filed.

Was LVP “victim-shaming” Rachel?

A few weeks ago, Rachel filed a lawsuit against former couple Sandoval and Ariana Madix. In short, Sandoval allegedly recorded a sexually explicit FaceTime of Rachel without her consent. And Ariana allegedly showed the video to other cast members.

Enter LVP, who called the lawsuit “ridiculous.” Rachel responded on an episode of her podcast Rachel Goes Rogue. “Immediately, I was like, ‘Oh, she didn’t read the brief.’ But then, you know, insiders told me like, ‘Oh no, she knows exactly what she’s doing.’ She’s saying this statement for the press to pick up this certain story,” Rachel told listeners.

The former pageant queen explained, “Obviously, you guys know, the lawsuit is not about me sending a video. This video was recorded.”

She then added, “It was a FaceTime video that I did not know was being recorded and I wasn’t aware this video existed until it was sent to me.”

“It’s very, very icky”

While Rachel admits that she wasn’t close with Lisa, her comments still stung. “It took a long time to really decide if I’m going to press charges or not. And I felt like it was important to bring this up,” Rachel explained. She went on to describe Lisa’s comments as “disappointing and hurtful.”

The 29 year-old continued, “My privacy was violated in a very intimate and unsuspecting way, and it is embarrassing and not something that I’m proud of at all. So to have her push out a certain type of story that isn’t anywhere near the truth of what has happened is very disappointing.”

“You have this idea of who somebody is and admire them for being a boss and advocating for what’s right but it just seems like that perception is shattering very quickly,” she noted. “Seeing the way she has turned on me.”

“I know that she has a lot of power and I want to be firm and standing up for myself and pointing out that it’s not okay to be talking about and spreading certain propaganda and straight-up lies as a way to change the public perception of somebody.”

Rachel went on to assert that LVP’s statements were “victim-shaming.” She concluded, “It’s very, very icky. It doesn’t feel right.”

Meanwhile, Vanderpump Rules continues Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
