The Valley Resumes Filming Amid Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright Split

Bravo has picked up the cameras to capture the fallout of Jax Taylor’s marriage with Brittany Cartwright

The Vanderpump Rules alum will be featured in the upcoming spin-off, The Valley. It will follow their lives alongside some of their friends, including Kristen Doute, learning how to navigate adult life in their 40s.

The rumor mill has been buzzing since Britt first confirmed that she and her House of Villains hubby were going through some marital issues. Brittany said on her podcast, “Jax and I are taking time apart, and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health.” Shortly after, she spilled more of her tea, explaining that Jax has yet to make the changes she’s requested. Many fans have wondered if they will see their drama play out in the series. Now they have an answer.

According to Entertainment Tonight, a source close to production reported that cameras were going back up to capture the drama happening between the lovebirds. In her first announcement, Brittany told her listeners she wouldn’t give too many details about her situation with Jax “because this is still very hard to talk about.” But she’ll talk about it for a check!

Jax and Brittany revealed earlier in the year that much has gone down between the cast of The Valley since production wrapped. “The Valley is going to be filled with drama,” Brittany said, while Jax teased that the dynamics had shifted completely. “So much has happened since we started filming. I can’t believe the cameras aren’t still going to be honest,” he said. I guess his wish came true.

But were they talking about themselves? Jax, who has been caught in quite a few lies, disputed the claims that he and Brittany were separated. He said it was all a big misunderstanding. “We’re together. We’re living in our home right now,” he said. After watching him for many years on television, I’ll be damned if I take anything Jax says at face value.

The Valley premieres on March 19 at 9/8c.
