During the latest episode of Vanderpump Rules, the gang was vacationing in Lake Tahoe. Minus Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney, who skipped the trip to work on opening their sandwich shop.
A meditation exercise paired up Tom Sandoval and Scheana Shay. By the end, both were facing each other crying. While Scheana was struggling over cutting off her friendship with Sandoval, Ariana didn’t care.
Then when Ariana landed Season 32 of Dancing with the Stars, it was like a “punch to the gut” for Scheana. Being on DWTS was always Scheana’s dream. So, she was happy for her VPR co-star, but also feeling a little jealous.
Ariana deals with a witchy return in Pump Rules Season 11, Episode 7
This sneak peek of Season 11, Episode 7 of Pump Rules kicked off when Sandoval arrived home from Tahoe. Ariana, sitting in her bedroom, knew the moment he walked in. Her Sandoval senses were tingling.
“That’s the sound of Tom Sandoval coming back from Tahoe. It’s like the Wicked Witch of the West flying around,” Ariana stated. Meanwhile, Sandoval reflected on the trip in his confessional. “The stench of the scandal is starting to wear off. People are humanizing me again,” he said. I guess Tom hadn’t been upstairs in his own house.
Over at Villa Rosa, Scheana went to see Lisa Vanderpump. “Honestly, Lisa, the day after we saw you in Tahoe, that was the most emotionally draining day I’ve ever had in this group. I cried so much, my eyelashes were dry and hurt,” Scheana explained. Not the lashes!
Scheana explained that she is actually grieving the loss of her friendship with Sandoval. Lisa asked if Scheana had spoken to Ariana about it. “It’s just hard when I try to tell her how I’m feeling when it comes to Sandoval,” Scheana explained. “She literally said, ‘I don’t want to hear about it.’”
In her confessional, Lisa discussed what she hopes will happen for Scheana. “All I want for Scheana is to at some point be able to say exactly what you’re thinking,” she stated.
In another part of the clip, Lala Kent met Ariana for coffee. When Ariana mentioned that Scheana called her from Tahoe crying, Lala broke it down. “I’ve never seen Scheana this upset … ever,” she said. Lala explained that if Scheana went somewhere and Sandoval was there, could she have a good time on just a surface level?
Ariana replied, “Like, well I’m not asking her to like f*cking fight him when she sees him. I’m not asking her to really do anything.” Then Lala asked Ariana why she didn’t defend Scheana from the online hate over the photo with Sandoval.
“I’m not going to post and have my sh*t reposted as headlines and stuff,” Ariana said. Then Lala asked her why she couldn’t tell her fans to leave Scheana alone. “I guess I could,” Ariana responded. It seemed like Ariana wasn’t very concerned about Scheana.
