When Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky decided to separate, it was a shock. Adding fuel to the fire was Kyle’s close friendship with country singer Morgan Wade. During Season 13 of RHOBH, Kyle was seen tattooing her first initial on Morgan’s arm. But a photo of Morgan and Kyle backstage at Watch What Happens Live has garnered plenty of attention.
Meanwhile, Kyle’s co-star and friend Dorit Kemsley made no secret of the fact that she was replaced by Morgan. She even commented that Kyle “was morphing into her.” Then Kyle commented that Dorit wasn’t her really good friend. Oof.
Next, a blind item came out, allegedly suggesting that a “cougar” and country singer were announcing their relationship via a magazine cover. While many suspected that Kyle and Morgan were the couple in question, Kyle shot the rumor down.
Kyle debunks another rumor about Morgan
During a recent Amazon Live, Kyle addressed a photo taken of her and Morgan at WWHL. In a video clip posted by Bravo Babe on X (formerly known as Twitter), Morgan seems to be lightly rubbing the small of Kyle’s back. And the internet went wild.
“Do you think fans are overreacting to the way that Morgan rubbed your hip?,” a follower asked during the Amazon Live. “I mean, yes. I was actually looking at the pictures. I was with Kiki [Barth] and we both had our hands like that,” Kyle explained. “And also, when you’re nervous you just… I kind of like, you know, I just thought it was stupid.” I’m a bit confused about whose hands were where, but moving on.
Kyle also stated that Morgan was working in New York City. So, that was why Morgan joined her at WWHL.
Fans weighed in on Kyle’s remarks
A fan account, Facereality16, shared a clip from the Amazon Live. “Kyle. KYLE. Earth to Kyle. The jig is up babe. She really thinks we’re all big idiots doesn’t she? one fan commented. Another follower wrote, “We could have a sex tape of them and Kyle would be like ‘what? It’s just two friends catching up.'”
Of course, some fans defended Kyle. “She doesn’t think everyone are idiots. It’s her life. Her marriage of almost 30 years has ended, she has 4 daughters and is probably in love with a woman not to mention all of it is all over social media,” a fan posted. “Has anyone stopped to put themselves in her shoes and see why she might be scared. A lot of you should try that before judging.”
