Phaedra Parks was finally unveiled as one of the treacherous killers during last week’s episode of The Traitors. The Real Housewives of Atlanta veteran arrived in Scotland with glam and a trove of fabulous clothing to follow. However, nobody expected her to be one of the best Traitors the series had seen.
Yes, she might have played a less strategic game than her fellow Traitors, Dan Gheesling and Parvati Shallow. But, she was quick on her feet, and her ability to survive three heated roundtable discussions before getting caught was quite impressive. “Phaedra played an amazing game. She surprised me all the time,” executive producer Mike Cotton said in an earlier interview.
So, what led to the Married to Medicine cast member’s fall? It had to have been Dan’s hare-brained stunt during Episode 6. That’s when the Big Brother winner attempted to throw the lawyer by trade under the bus to save himself. Although it backfired, Dan might as well have painted Phaedra bright red. In an interview with Extra, Phaedra spoke about the intense arguments during the roundtable. Plus, whether she believes Dan sabotaged her game.
Phaedra blames Dan for ruining her Traitors game
When speaking about her iconic one-liners that have become wildly popular online, Phaedra reflected on one of the most memorable: “I do too much because you do too little.” The Bravo staple said she uttered those words to her fellow Traitor because “that’s what Dan did. … The minimal. Besides calling me out, he didn’t do much else, honey.”
Later, the funeral director said she felt the days following Dan’s banishment were much more challenging thanks to the suspicion he placed on her.
“I was fighting,” she said. “Every roundtable, I’m fighting because of what Dirty Dan did. So, had he not done that, I would’ve probably had an easier ride.”
Phaedra and Dan will come face to face for the first time since filming when the reunion airs this Thursday at 9/8c.
