Summer House Season 8 has barely just begun, and there is already so much toxicity between Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard. They got into a shocking fight their first weekend at the house, with the former publicist accusing her sober ex-fiancé of being under the influence.
It was quite an epiphany on what potentially broke the former couple apart. Knowing how it all ends, and seeing how toxic it is already, it’s worth discussing how the cast will move forward as a whole for a potential ninth season.
Who better to ask than Danielle Olivera? Danielle is friends with both Lindsay and Carl, and had her own beef with the Hubb House owner in the summer of 2022. Ironically, it was her concern about Lindsay’s relationship with Carl that drove a wedge between them. Now, the two ladies are in a better place. And Danielle spoke about the future of Summer House in a recent interview.
Danielle hopes for resolution, as she had with Lindsay
During an interview with Page Six, Danielle opined that there is no chance of getting the former exes under the same roof to film again.
“We might need some time. Yeah, we need a lot of time,” Danielle said.
Danielle certainly needed some time to deal with how Lindsay left matters between them last summer. The two Bravolebrities came to a resolution after re-defining the parameters of their friendship. It took time and work, but Danielle and Lindsay were able to cruise into the summer of 2023 in good fun.
Speaking of her fight with Lindsay, Danielle explained, “To be fair, I thought that I would never speak to Lindsay again. That was just so heartbreaking to me, but here we are. So crazier things have happened.”
That anecdotal evidence can be perceived either way. Perhaps there is a chance that Carl and Lindsay can be civil living in the same house. However, the stakes and hurt were much higher between the former betrothed couple and Lindsay and Danielle.
It’s worth noting that Carl and Lindsay were able to avoid each other perfectly well at the Winter House Season 3 premiere in October of 2023. Good luck to Summer House fans.
