From the moment Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky’s marital troubles hit the press, speculation around infidelity blew up. Mauricio has since been linked to multiple women, but Kyle to only one – Morgan Wade.
Fans pointed to several factors to suggest Kyle and Morgan were in a relationship, primarily, their matching rings and tattoos. Since then, the evidence has only seemed to grow.
Compound the rumors with the fact that Kyle said she’d be interested in dating a woman, and Kyle has a recipe for a rumor mill. Her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast members were initially rather shocked by her admission. Now, it hardly seems like a surprise.
Kyle Richards proclaims to have changed
In the RHOBH Season 13 reunion’s first part, Kyle told her friends, “I have changed.” She explained, “I grew up [where] everything had to be by the book, and everything your mom teaches you that’s what you have to think and believe.”
Referencing the possibility of dating a woman, Kyle said, “This last year and a half I have changed. I don’t know what the future holds, so why wouldn’t I say maybe?” If I were to put on my tinfoil hat here, I might suggest that Kyle was already dating Morgan and creating a plausible timeline for when the relationship is revealed. But that’s nothing more than unfounded conjecture.
During the reunion, fans also saw Kyle take shots at Dorit Kemsley for apparently starting and spreading rumors about Morgan. Dorit responded, “Kyle, the Morgan situation has been in the media, and it was not because of my comment.” Indeed, if Dorit was a driving factor, her contribution to the rumors must’ve been minimal.
