Lala Kent has been showing off her softer side on this season of Vanderpump Rules. It may be for the sake of keeping a storyline on the show that sends her a paycheck, but it is refreshing to see. Tom Schwartz has been a big fan of Lala these days, which is quite a change of tune after how their relationship was during the Scandoval of it all.
Lala recently joined Schwartz and the gang on a trip to Lake Tahoe on Pump Rules. She and James Kennedy nervously agreed to share a house with Tom Sandoval on the trip, which was a sight to behold. Lala recently revealed during the Vanderpump Rules After Show the real reason why she bit the bullet and joined the cast trip.
Lala Kent has selfish intentions
Lala and the rest of the VPR crew broke down their intentions for attending or skipping the Tahoe trip. Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney were looking for anything better to do, which Lala said she understood. Scheana Shay admitted that she wouldn’t have joined if Lala hadn’t committed to the vacation.
Ultimately, Lala decided to go on the Toms’ redemption trip for the sake of seeing a new place. “I legit went for the lake and it was so worth it. It was stunning,” Lala said. Lala, she’s always going to think about what Lala wants and make decisions based on that. However, it’s hard not to believe that the appeal of filming a group cast trip had an impact on Lala’s decision.
Lala thinks that Katie and Ariana would’ve loved to go to Lake Tahoe, just not with their messy exes. “I’m into energy and clearly I think the energy would’ve thrown them off,” Lala explained. “There’s something so zen and spiritual about that lake – you don’t want to feel uptight.” Who knew Lauren from Utah was such a lake lover?
