Phaedra Parks has stayed booked and busy between her jobs as a Married to Medicine cast member and breakout star of Peacock’s The Traitors Season 2.
The latter brings together 21 celebrities, locking them away in a Scotland castle for a game full of strategy, betrayal, and murder. Phaedra, who snagged a role as one of the show’s titular Traitors, has kept many of the show’s fans entertained. From her subtle quips, like, “Oh my Lord. Sweet baby, Jesus — Not Ekin Su [Cülcüloğlu],” to her epic showdown with Dan Gheesling, where she shreds the Big Brother alum for doing “too little,” Bravo watchers have been living for Phae’s second-coming following her messy Real Housewives of Atlanta exit.
“I guess I just have the gift of gab,” she told Bustle. However, believe it or not, the reality star turned murderous killer didn’t know what she was in for before accepting the call. “I had no idea what I was getting myself into,” she revealed. “I thought I would be walking down a staircase, not physical activities and fighting with people. It turned into Dynasty meets Survivor.”
Phaedra is prepared to check Dan during the upcoming Traitors reunion
Although many of Phaedra’s beloved moments throughout Season 2 of The Traitors have been lighthearted and fun, the fashionista (and practicing attorney) has had to showcase her lethal side on rare occasions, too.
Her co-stars got their first glimpse during Dan’s roundtable banishment in an earlier episode, where she slammed him after attempting to shift the focus onto her. So, how did she feel being the subject of Dan’s schemes?
“I was so disappointed and shocked,” she said. “Looking back, I didn’t know he and Parvati [Shallow] were plotting against me the whole time. I thought they were good people, but obviously, they are not of good Christian character. I thought he was a little strange. He gives, ‘I drive a cargo van with no windows.’ When someone shows you they’re weird, you better believe them.”
Regarding their upcoming reunion, what message does Phae have planned for him?
“Oh, honey. I have some choice words. I might have to repent afterward.”
Stream new episodes of The Traitors on Thursdays at 9/8c, only on Peacock.
