The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newbie Annemarie Wiley threw a fabulous Champagne and Diamonds Brunch for Mother’s Day. Everyone was impressed, except for Sutton Stracke. Sutton and Annemarie had a rocky start to their relationship. Annemarie, a nurse anesthetist, questioned Sutton about her narrow esophagus. She even mentioned that Sutton might have an eating disorder. Annemarie received plenty of blowback for those comments.
Sutton also came under fire for her drinking habits. Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley gossiped about whether Sutton had a problem. And Crystal Kung Minkoff promptly told Sutton. Perhaps bringing a “roadie” to the brunch didn’t help Sutton’s case.
Sutton brought one for the roadie
During the RHOBH: After Show, Annemarie reflected on her blinged-out brunch. “Oh, it was so fun. I don’t even care if the other ladies had fun or not,” she stated. “I love hosting. Like I love that I got to have all my friends there and like some of the ladies. Some of the ladies, some are more social than others. So, some of them mingled, some of them didn’t. It is what it is, but I just loved having the ladies in my space,” Annemarie said. “You know, so they could kind of see a little bit of my life and Wiley’s world.”
But Sutton shaded the event. “Hell yeah! We’re going to Kobalt…what is it called?” she asked. “Korbell,” Garcelle Beauvais answered with a laugh. In her confessional, Sutton said, “Y’all can go drink Korbell because I’m well, I mean, I’m not going to drink that stuff.” Ouch!
“I grew up on Korbell. I mean, not grew up on it but I…that’s what we could afford,” Garcelle stated. Sutton added, “I don’t even know how to pronounce it.” Of course, by the time Sutton arrived at Annemarie’s home, she was already tipsy from her “roadie.”
“We’re in my house. I don’t want negative energy in my house,” Annemarie said. “This is where my family is. This is my happy place.” A producer asked, “And were you nervous about hosting the ladies?”
Now it was Annemarie’s turn to throw some shade. “No. I entertain very high-profile people. I was not worried about the ladies,” she stated. Burn!
