On the most recent episode of Vanderpump Rules Season 11, fans saw Tom Sandoval and Scheana Shay get into a rather awkward conversation. Now, James Kennedy has some thoughts he’d like to share on the convo.
Tom managed to pull Scheana aside and the two had a chat just outside of SUR. In a rare moment of self-awareness, Tom admitted that he’d handled Scandoval’s fallout very poorly. Scheana encouraged him to change his ways from here on out.
Unfortunately, that’s where Tom grew stubborn. He reminded her that he apologized to her already and the two argued, each one calling the other a narcissist. Tom called the loss of Scheana’s friendship “devastating.”
What did James think of Tom and Scheana’s tiff?
As per Bravo, during an episode of Watch What Happens Live, James asked, “Can that friendship be mended? I’m not sure, but that was a painful conversation to watch, you know, as was the conversation [Sandoval] tried to have with me in his house on his birthday – pretty painful.” He’s not entirely wrong.
As for other friendship dynamics, however, James was more optimistic. When asked if he thought Tom Schwartz should give up on his friendship with Sandoval, James expressed that the two simply needed each other. “Even though I said Schwartz is a better Tom without TomTom, I still think they’re like, [a] match made in heaven.”
In the same vein as the last question, James was also asked whether he thought Ariana Madix and Schwartz might ever be friends again. “I think so. I think there’s room.” He didn’t elaborate any further. The ripple effects of Scandoval are still as strong as ever. Where do these friendships go from here? We’ll just have to wait and see.
