Let’s just be honest — the cast of Southern Hospitality is messy. If it’s not one thing, it’s another. From cheating scandals to secret audio recordings to love triangles, so much goes on in this circle of Charleston friends that it’s hard to keep up.
Also among them are a few lovebirds. Specifically, Will Kulp and Emmy Sharrett, who have spoken publicly about the challenges in their long-distance relationship. And there’s Bradley Carter and Lucia Peña.
Season 2 has shown the latter pair getting closer to each other as time goes on, with the February 8 episode highlighting Bradley’s desire to make things exclusive. So, how do the others, especially Bradley’s biggest foe, Maddi Reese, feel about their pairing? Read on to find out.
Maddi has a warning for Lucia and Bradley updates fans on their relationship status
Bradley and Maddi have been at each other’s necks ever since she spread a spicy rumor about Brad allegedly receiving fellatio in a back alleyway. So, it makes sense why she’d warn any woman close to Brad to step away.
During her recent Watch What Happens Live appearance with Andy Cohen, Maddi answered a batch of shady questions about the Body by Brad founder. And when asked what Lucia should look forward to in dating him, Maddi had one thing to say: “Nothing.”
Speaking of Lucia and Brad, in a separate interview, Brad revealed the two decided to call things off after Season 2. He says this had more to do with him than her.
“Right now, me and Lucia are not together, unfortunately,” Brad told Decider. “Things ended up not working out. It’s a little bit more my fault. I’ll take responsibility for that, definitely. Needless to say, I can’t say too much, but all questions will be answered, I promise.”
He continued: “We still have a great relationship. I literally just got off the phone with her a couple of hours ago. Things didn’t end up working out the best way, but we’re doing okay. We’re good.”
From the sounds of it, Bradley and Lucia will address their complicated situationship further at the upcoming Southern Hospitality reunion.
