On Married to Medicine, Dr. Alicia Egolum is slowly getting her feet wet with the group. She’s one of the newbies on the block, but apparently, she’s already formed some major opinions about her costars. On Watch What Happens Live, she threw some shade at Toya Bush-Harris for being an “overbearing wife.”
In Dr. Alicia’s defense, her comments about Toya didn’t come out of nowhere. Andy Cohen prodded her to answer revealing questions about her costars during a game called, “Let’s! Give! Hilton Head!” When she had a chance to dish on Toya and Dr. Eugene Harris, Alicia let it rip.
Dr. Alicia’s diagnosis
During the game on WWHL, Andy asked a series of questions and Alicia had to pick the Married to Medicine couple that best fit the scenario. When Andy asked who was the most overbearing wife, she quickly answered Toya. She didn’t even have to think about it.
Of course, Dr. Alicia isn’t the first person to have that reaction about Toya. She and her husband have been on the show since the very beginning. We’ve seen them bounce from house to house every season, and Toya has never hesitated to share her opinion every step of the way. Eugene might think he wears the pants in that relationship, but we all know it’s Toya.
Calling Toya “overbearing” wasn’t the only dig she threw during the segment. She also clocked Toya and Eugene as the couple that bicker the most. One positive note she gave them was that they’re the most fashionable. Who doesn’t love a bickering, fashionable couple?
Andy also asked the M2M newbie which of the other relationships reminded her the most of her own marriage, and she said Dr. Heavenly and Dr. Damon Kimes. A few moments later, without hesitation, she also suggested that they’re the couple who have the most vanilla sex.
With all this shade, it seems like Dr. Alicia is fitting in with the M2M crew just fine.
