Lisa Barlow is out on the streets telling multiple media outlets how great next season will be. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star is on a mission telling fans Season 5 will be out of this world. But the question is, who is she trying to convince – us or herself?
Season 4 was high art mainly thanks to the now-departed Monica Garcia. She was the main player while viewers wondered if they would ever solve the mystery of Heather Gay’s black eye. Spoiler alert, I’m not sure we did. In any event, according to Lisa, Season 5 will blow all previous seasons out of the water. Allegedly. People has the scoop.
What’s going to top Season 4?
Obviously RHOSLC was crazy last season and people ate it up. Fans are still talking about Monica and her evil Instagram account that terrified the cast. This particular franchise has been extremely lucky in the drama department, but will that luck hold out? Lisa says yes, because, of course she does.
“I feel like this year might be our best year ever, just based on what I’ve seen and heard and how things are going so far,” LB optimistically said. “I actually think it’s going to be the most iconic season ever,” she added. Short of Jen Shah calling in and berating someone via FaceTime, Lisa is setting a high bar.
She also offered words of wisdom to anyone thinking Monica’s absence would impact the show. “I feel like every season everyone’s like, ‘They’re not going to be able to top that. That’s never getting top. That was it. That’s like their peak. They’re done.’ And every single year we bring it,” Lisa continued.
Baby G noted some newbies will be coming in to stir the pot. “We always have someone new coming to mix things up, but then there’s still other issues that surface from the year prior that you have to address.” Translation, they’re still talking about Monica.
It’s all happening in Season 5 – allegedly
“So I feel like just based on what I’ve experienced, I think the season’s going to be, ‘Wow,’ in a totally different way,” LB shared. “I just feel like we’re going to blow everybody away again. And I think, just like with Salt Lake, I think just when you think you’ve seen everything, there’s always more.”
Get ready to elevate … “I feel like this is the season where we’re going to get to really elevate and be free of that point in our life that we really want to move on from. I don’t want to think about the Feds, Homeland Security and PD showing up anymore. It’s not interesting anymore. We’ve been there, did that,” Lisa concluded.
