Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky are on month number seven of their separation. When these two first announced their split, a lot of theories began circulating. For her part, Kyle has grown close to country music singer Morgan Wade. Many people are now asking if these two ladies are just friends, or, if they might be dating.
On his end, Mauricio’s often stood accused of being a cheater. Tabloids have actually been running stories on this for years. That said, while we don’t really know what is going on behind their closed doors, we will say this; we just want these two to be happy.
Currently, neither party has pulled the divorce plug as of yet, so it seems like these two are still trying to make things work. On the flip side, Kyle and Mauricio could just need more time to finish sorting through the problems found within their decades-long marriage. Or, this storyline could all just be fake, which would piss off so many viewers. But hey…ratings.
That said, a new note was just added to this very confusing, conflicting storyline. You see, Bravo‘s ever watchful viewers clocked Kyle liking a post online, which delved into the concept of micro-cheating. Cue all the viewers thoughts, again, but if you ask us, both Kyle and Mauricio are guilty of this claim. Keep reading to see what we mean.
But First, the Post in Question
The post that Kyle recently liked was on influencer Sameeksha Dhoundiyal’s account. In this reel, images scroll by, with words that help to define the concept of micro-cheating. These examples include “secretly messaging someone,” “deleting messages,” “complaining about your partner to other people,” “maintaining contact with your exes or people you used to talk to,” “lying about your relationship status online or offline,” “being touchy with someone else,” “trying to impress someone who isn’t your partner,” “having [a] secret friendship,” and “stalking someone you find attractive.”
If Kyle liked this, then it clearly resonated with her in one way or another. But again, if you ask us, these examples highlight both her and Mauricio’s actions as of late.
Kyle’s Been Micro-Cheating On-Air
In seasons past, Kyle has kept very mum on all things Mauricio. When rumors would fly, she would choose to either ignore them, deflect them, or even refute them. Marriage is hard, and wanting to protect one on national television must be insanely difficult, so we can understand her moves. But this season on RHOBH, Kyle is no longer holding back.
One of the examples given for micro-cheating was “complaining about your partner to other people.” In numerous scenes during Season 13, Kyle is doing this very thing. She is now presenting as a wife who is just over it, and on-air, her gloves are coming off, finally revealing the truths behind her very strained marriage. By choosing to air her grievances publicly, she is, in the very words of this post, now micro-cheating on Mauricio.
Kyle’s Friendship With Morgan = Micro-Cheating
Kyle and Morgan first met after Kyle reached out to the singer online, which was prior to Kyle and Mauricio’s decision to separate. Listen, if Kyle is into Morgan, we’re here for it, once the ink dries on her divorce. But instead, Kyle’s denied that there is anything physical going on. In contrast, Kyle and Morgan were often spotted, before her separation announcement was made, looking pretty coupled up.
After forming their friendship, Morgan got the letter “K” tattooed on her body. Also, Kyle is newly sober, which Morgan is as well. Oh, and don’t get us started on Morgan’s new music video, which Kyle has passed off as being funny, but woah, it’s….sensual af.
As far as micro-cheating goes, Kyle’s friendship with Morgan checks off a slew of the aforementioned boxes. These include “being touchy with someone else,” “trying to impress someone who isn’t your partner,” “having [a] secret friendship” and “stalking someone you find attractive.” Hopefully, Kyle finally feels safe enough to either confirm or deny their pairing at the upcoming RHOBH Season 13 reunion.
Mauricio’s Micro-Cheating Online
During the RHOBH After Show Part 1, Kyle opened up about Mauricio’s “disrespectful” behaviors online. On-air, Kyle told the ladies that she has fought with Mo over his actions, which have included “liking people’s photos” and “following people” that a married man really shouldn’t be following. On the After Show, she added “don’t even have me check those DM’s.”
Consider the “stalking someone you find attractive” micro-cheating box checked. Although the word “stalking” is a stretch, he still publicly disrespected Kyle in a very public manner well before they ever separated. Now, in terms of his actual cheating over the years, nothing has ever been solidified yet. Therefore, these claims remain in the speculation realm.
As for all of the recent pap shots of Mauricio being linked to other women, he’s officially separated now, so we can’t really call his current actions cheating per say. However, we’d still like to see him and Kyle make things official either way, because these two deserve to fully invest their time wherever their hearts truly lie.
