During Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Crystal Kung Minkoff found her voice. She told Sutton Stracke that Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley were discussing her drinking habits. Crystal called newbie Annemarie Wiley “a bitch” at a charity gala. The reason? Annemarie developed a bizarre interest in Sutton’s esophagus and mentioned that she might have an eating disorder. Crystal has been open about her eating disorder and called Annemarie on it. And, when Dorit called Crystal “a child bride” in her confessional, the gloves came off.
Dorit was feeling the burn at the RHOBH reunion
Crystal told Entertainment Tonight, “I get that the show is designed to, you know — we’re supposed to be shady. But I don’t know why she brought my marriage into it.” Crystal and Rob Minkoff tied the knot when Crystal was 24 years old and Rob was 43 years old.
“I’ve been with Rob for 20 years. I have one of the most successful marriages [on the show], and regardless of how long I’ve been married, like, Rob, and I are great,” Crystal explained. “And so, I think it’s really rude and disrespectful to say something like that, which is very loaded — it’s a loaded comment.” She added, “I’m usually very quiet, but don’t come after Rob. Rob Minkoff’s the GOAT.”
Crystal took to Instagram and posted her wedding photo with Rob. She also listed the “keys to a successful marriage.” Crystal took direct aim at Dorit and her husband, PK Kemsley. “Buy, don’t borrow diamond necklaces for your wife,” she wrote. You may remember that PK planned an elaborate Pretty Woman-themed date night for Dorit. And he borrowed a beautiful diamond necklace for her to wear that night.
In the end, Crystal and Dorit dealt with their drama at the Season 13 RHOBH reunion. They certainly had a lot to discuss. Crystal said that both Dorit and Kyle were “in the hot seat a lot.”
And she went into the reunion fully prepared. “I really tried to go in there with a different perspective and different attitude than I did my first two years because I know better now. I know what to expect, and instead of being on the defense, I had a lot to say,” she stated.
Crystal added, “I wanted to make sure I got it in there. and so I walked out of there feeling very good.”
