Below Deck Season 11 Has ‘Whole New Set of Yachties Trying to Ruin Lives’

As always when a new set of crew meets for a season on the Below Deck franchise, there is enthusiasm and camaraderie. It’s only later when the going gets tough, or someone has one too many drinks on a crew night out that conflicts start to emerge. And knowing the care production takes into casting, some clashes may be premeditated.

Season 11 only just premiered, so matters within the crew are as good as they’re likely ever to be. Returning chief stew Fraser Olender and Below Deck Adventure’s Captain Kerry Titheradge teased upcoming drama within the cast during a recent interview to plug the new season.

Fraser Olender teases “some troubles” ahead

The Below Deck stars spoke exclusively to Extra! about what to expect within the group this season. Fans will recall how difficult a time Fraser had in Season 10 dealing with Camille Lamb and Alissa Humber.

And this time is no different as “a whole new set of yachties trying to ruin our lives,” Fraser teased of the challenges of being in a management position.

“I’m joking,” he continued. “We have a phenomenal team this year, but, you know, it’s not fun if everything’s going great and if they pair us with the people they know we’ll love, so of course we’ve got some troubles.”

It has been teased already that there will be more firings this season, as opposed to the season prior.

“There are always going to be some tears and there are always going to be some people let go, and people leaving,” Fraser added.

One thing is for sure, the chief stew has a great working relationship with the new captain.

“You’re going to see a dynamic between the two of us… We get on really well, we click,” Captain Kerry revealed.

Fraser confirmed the sentiment. He said, “Ultimately Kerry and I saw eye to eye on most things and the respect was there and we actually enjoy each other’s company, which makes life so much easier working alongside each other. I’m very grateful. I feel very lucky to have him.”

It seems that Below Deck isn’t missing a beat with a new captain and new team on board.
