Looks like Annemarie Wiley has something else to add to her recent back-and-forth with Dr. Nicole Martin. This all started when Annemarie inserted herself into Sutton Stracke’s esophagus debate on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, telling Sutton to chew her food more.
Fans quickly reached out to Real Housewives of Miami’s Dr. Nicole to hear her thoughts on the debacle. Nicole found Annemarie’s questioning to be condescending and cringe. When Annemarie caught wind of Nicole’s response, she accused the doctor of clout-chasing.
Nicole would then give a clapback for the ages. She appeared on Watch What Happens Live, where she said clout-chasing would imply going after a bigger fish. Now, it would appear Annemarie is trying to backpedal a bit.
Annemarie says Nicole Martin wants Beverly Hills numbers
On a recent WWHL, a fan called in to ask Annemarie what she thought of being called a smaller fish by Dr. Nicole. Annemarie began, “I’m glad you asked that.” She explained, “I never implied that she was clout-chasing me. I was saying it’s numbers, right? Like, she is chiming in because she wants to be involved in like, the Beverly Hills franchise.”
Annemarie continued, “Yeah, I never said me. If you watch it back, I said she’s clout-chasing off of Beverly Hills. And I mean … you know, the numbers speak for themselves and so if you can tag along to that franchise, you’re gonna get lots of views, which is what she got from it.” Annemarie does have a point that RHOBH generally draws in more viewers than RHOM.
However, Nicole didn’t necessarily need the clout. When the WWHL channel posted the clip to YouTube, many fans pointed out that Nicole was already a well-established Housewife, unlike Annemarie. She would’ve been just fine if she hadn’t addressed the situation, only choosing to do so based on fans’ requests, at least according to her.
