Tom Sandoval spoke and what came out of his mouth must be the highest form of delusion I’ve seen in years. And I write about reality television, so I’m an expert in delusions of grandeur.
Vanderpump Rules is no slouch in the delusional department. With a cast like this, everyone is only slightly living in reality whilst filming a reality television show. But Sandoval is something else entirely and after his (extremely late) appearance on Nick Viall’s podcast, he’s the Number 1 Delusional Guy in the group. Join me, won’t you, while Tom blames his betrayal on … Ariana Madix.
DECEIT, DEFLECTION, GASLIGHTING, NARCISSISM – FUCKING EVERYTHING!
This man is on a whole other planet and that planet’s stability is questionable. Sandoval and Tom Schwartz were scheduled to appear on The Viall Files, but only one showed up. Schwartz was there but Tom was in a cocoon of shame somewhere sleeping it off. When he finally showed up, it was a master class in douchebaggery.
Tom currently claims he cheated on his partner of almost ten years because she was mean to him. Allegedly. “If you want me to be f–king honest, I loved, I love Ariana. I do. I really care about her,” Sandoval began.
“But like, this person — f–king throughout our relationship — talked to me like I was down here, all the f–king time,” he added. Was she really or perhaps Ariana was simply trying to hold a man-child accountable for his actions?
Because Ari ALLEGEDLY put him down all the time, he was forced to cheat with one of her best friends. “And it’s unfortunate that like, my way of acting out against that was like, me also like, just getting belittled, belittled, belittled all the f–king time,” Tom said. He added he “acted out” because he had “low self-worth.” Aw, someone has been watching Dr. Phil when he wakes up before noon…
The audacity is STUNNING
Sure, Jan – so what was his excuse for constantly cheating on Kristen Doute? Did she also hurt poor wittle Tom’s feewings? Is that why he felt the need to bang chicks when he went out of town? Also, was Ariana belittling him during the Miami Girl ordeal? That was just another lie he had to cop to after Scandoval.
Get a load of this gem. “Somebody like Raquel (sir, her name is Rachel – me) — somebody who’s in her 20s doing the whipped cream bikini thing — I was like, ‘Wow. I’m attracted to somebody,’” he admitted pathetically. Apparently Ariana didn’t have sex with Tom for a year. I also recall in earlier VPR seasons he blamed cheating on Kristen because SHE also stopped sleeping with him. Seems like the common denominator for monotonous sex might be Sandoval.
That said, he doesn’t blame his lying, betraying ways on Ariana – he just enjoys gaslighting for the fun of it! “But I loved Ariana. I really f–king did. And the whole process of breaking up with her, this happened over four months,” he said. Meanwhile, Schwartz is in the corner, being the Bianca Censori to Tom’s Kanye and the co-dependency of this relationship is beyond troubling.
So yeah, there has been no growth or development here. Guess we’ll try again next week.
