Rachel Leviss Addresses Claims She Doesn’t Take ‘Accountability’

After Rachel Leviss check out from her voluntary mental health facility, the public was interested in if she’d take some accountability. They wanted to know if her time at the facility had a positive effect. And, whether she would share different sentiments than she had at the Vanderpump Rules Season 10 reunion.

Many viewers did not feel that Rachel grasped the full effect that her cheating with Tom Sandoval had on Ariana Madix. That perhaps she had not taken full responsibility for her part in the nearly year-long affair.

Well, there are some VPR fans that still feel that way. Rachel has been speaking out on her podcast, Rachel Goes Rogue, about her feelings regarding VPR and Scandoval. And some think that because she is speaking of the challenges in her life since March 2023, that she is looking for sympathy, rather than taking accountability.

Rachel speaks of being “two things at once” and says she does take accountability for her actions

During a recent episode of her podcast, Rachel spoke of the dichotomy of “the affair,” “the cheating, and the lying” versus absorbing the hate directed at her since it all surfaced. That includes, being “assaulted,” “harassed,” and “threatened.”

Rachel said her life “had become completely unmanageable.” She added that it had been “so out of my control that it has impacted me in a way that I couldn’t even fathom.”

“You can be two things at once: you can be a perpetrator where you are making these mistakes and taking accountability for these actions, and you can also be a victim of manipulation, a victim of assault, a victim of harassment. Both of these things can happen to the same person at the same time,” Rachel continued.

James Kennedy’s ex-fiancé is doing her “very best to take accountability.” That includes doing her all to “change my behavior and learn from my mistakes.”

She denies trying to “play the sympathy card” by speaking of the hate she’s experienced.

Rather, Rachel said, “I’m just putting this all out there so you guys can be more educated on the choices that I made and the reasoning behind them, how this has impacted my life, and how I’m moving forward to be a better person and hopefully make a change.”

Vanderpump Rules Season 11 premieres Tuesday January 30 at 8/7c on Bravo.
