Carl Radke has a very famous fan. And that star gave him a swanky ride home to the Big Apple. Perhaps the Summer House cast member’s exposure increased after the shocking way in which he ended his engagement to Lindsay Hubbard. Or perhaps Chrissy Teigen was already a Summer House fan.
Either way, the model and TV personality offered Carl a ride and gave Andy Cohen an explanation during a recent visit to Sirius XM’s Andy Cohen Live.
Chrissy had “so many questions” for Carl
“We saw Carl at Sundance and I’m at the point now with Bravo stars where I think we’re friends,” Chrissy told the Bravo exec.
“I have never met Carl,” she added. “I’ve never spoken to him, but we saw each other at I think the Variety booth thing and, in my mind, he had a really complicated flight back to New York. He didn’t. It was like a Delta first-class direct, but I was like, ‘You should come with us.’”
It was a thoughtful gesture from Chrissy, albeit unnecessary. But given the response from her husband, John Legend, Carl may have felt a little awkward.
“It was really funny actually because John was seated already and then Carl came on and John was still sitting, like, he didn’t pop up to give him a big hug or anything so Carl so graciously came over,” Chrissy explained. “[Carl] was like, ‘Hey man, I just want to say thank you so much. I love you.’ It was so sweet, and John was like, for a minute I could see John being a little…”
Andy then asked Chrissy if John was jealous.
“He’s got the tight pants, and he looks great,” she responded. “[John’s] like … Yeah. [Carl’s] sober and he’s just like a really wonderful personality like you said. He just seems like a fun, cool dude.’”
And while the model had “so many questions” for Carl, the Summer House star “passed out immediately.”
That’s a shame. It seems Chrissy would have asked some tough ones.
Summer House is set to return February 22 at 9/8c on Bravo.
