Southern Charm may have finished airing Season 9, but there is plenty of drama from the spinoff cast of Southern Hospitality. Taylor Ann Green, the Charm Season 9 villain, is well liked among the Hospitality cast. Plus, her current boyfriend is roommates with one of its stars.
Taylor had such a hard time at the reunion. She was unable to make amends with Olivia Flowers, and came off as very petty when she pushed the reveal of her former bestie’s fling with Thomas Ravenel. The stunt backfired tremendously.
So, a trio of her friends were asked to share how Shep Rose’s ex-girlfriend is doing now that the dust has settled.
TJ Dinch thinks Taylor Ann Green was “thrown into it”
Decider recently interviewed TJ Dinch, Will Kulp, and Emmy Sharrett of Leva Bonaparte’s club Republic about the current season. One question directed at TJ asked how Taylor was doing now that Southern Charm Season 9 had finished filming.
“She’s holding in there,” TJ revealed. “I think it’s hard for her to navigate through all of this. I don’t think she was built for it [and] I think she was kind of just thrown into it with Shep. She’s a really good person deep down.”
Taylor got a lot of criticism for how she handled her kiss with Austen Kroll once her co-stars found out. Between lying to Olivia, demanding forgiveness, and being overheard stating that her friend’s romance with Austen wasn’t a big deal, it seems Taylor can’t take one correct step.
TJ addressed that when he said, “And I just don’t think she knows how to defend herself correctly. And then she just rambles and it comes out completely wrong. We all three know her really well in these chairs and it’s not the person she’s getting portrayed to be. At all.”
It’s an interesting perspective. But Taylor certainly seems to have found her niche among these friends.
