RHOBH Season 13 Episode 14 Preview: Sutton Stracke Apologizes for Not Being Better Friend to Kyle Richards

Content warning: brief mention of suicide.

The friendship rollercoaster between Sutton Stracke and Kyle Richards continues to play out on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Kyle was pretty salty when Sutton and Garcelle Beauvais questioned her marriage to Mauricio Umansky.

But when Kyle hosted a Celebration of Life event for her late best friend, Lorene Shea, Sutton was furious that Mauricio skipped the event. Sutton’s father also took his own life, and she understood Kyle’s pain. She also felt that Mauricio should have supported his wife.

In an official preview for RHOBH Season 13, Episode 14, Sutton and Kyle decided to mend their friendship. Check out the preview below.

Sutton apologized to Kyle

In Barcelona, Crystal Kung Minkoff was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The rest of the ladies went into a church to have a moment of reflection and light some candles. Sutton lit one for Crystal and one for her late father.

After the others left, Kyle and Sutton stayed behind in the church. Sutton shared that her friend had a dream about her late father. “A psychic told me that Lorene is telling you that she doesn’t understand what happened to her,” Kyle said. Sutton noted that Kyle would never have answers, but that Lorene was now at peace.

“I’m sorry I haven’t been a better friend,” Sutton told Kyle. “You have been a good friend. It’s okay,” Kyle replied. It feels like this duo has a genuine friendship.

“I hate fighting with Kyle. So to have this moment and to start to really rebuild our friendship means everything to me,” Sutton said in her confessional. And Kyle also wants to move on.

“I care about Sutton a lot. And I was very hurt by the question she was asking about my marriage,” Kyle said in a confessional. “So I’m happy to accept her apology and move on because I’m much happier with our friendship being in a good place.”

Well, I’m not sure how long this duo’s friendship stays in a happy place. But seeing them share a moment like this was authentic and emotional.
