Kyle Richards is hurt by how Dorit Kemsley has been saying she replaced her with Morgan Wade. And she’s not enjoying all of this on top of everything else.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star accused Dorit of being dishonest about their friendship and more on Jeff Lewis’ radio show. She spoke about how conflicts in her friendships have only made this harder as she struggles through her ongoing separation from Mauricio Umansky.
Defining a relationship
Kyle spilled the tea on the radio show and shared that she felt Dorit was being dishonest about their relationship, the lack of empathy she’s received from Sutton Stracke during the filming of the latest RHOBH season, and how she felt alone during the filming process.
“Dorit, obviously, we’ve gone through a bit of a hard time,” Kyle said. “I care about Dorit, PK Kemsley, and their kids, but I felt hurt. She said she felt replaced by Morgan, and I mean, I love Dorit, I mean that, but she’s never been, in the years since she joined the show, that girl that I would call first thing in the morning or without with or go to breakfast,” Kyle explained.
According to Kyle, she and Dorit have a different friendship than the one she has with Morgan. She talked about the different tiers of friendship and how you can love all your friends but have different kinds of relationships with them.
Kyle was not happy that she felt Dorit felt the need to exaggerate their relationship for the sake of an interview because this was just making things worse. “So I was like, ‘Thanks a lot, that’s not even true.’”
More tension
In addition to her issues with Dorit, Kyle also admitted that she’s faced hardship in her friendship with Sutton, who wanted to know exactly what was going on in Kyle’s marriage.
“We were friends, genuine friends,” Kyle prefaces. “I just didn’t understand why she was doing that this season out of the blue. It was the strangest thing, that dinner. I felt like I was on trial, and I was struggling so much and going through a difficult time.”
Kyle explained that it was the lack of empathy that surprised her, especially considering they knew what was going on in her life. And she felt hurt and acted angry.
To say it’s been tense is an understatement, and while Kyle and Sutton aren’t as close as they were before, Kyle said she still cares for her. And when Sutton sent her a text recently, she responded.
It was a pretty awkward and tense Season 13 all around. Guess, we’ll have to wait and see what happens now.
