Scandoval is truly the gift that keeps on giving. Ever since the scandal broke, the cast of Vanderpump Rules has been cashing in. While some sold merch, like Ariana Madix, Katie Maloney, and Lala Kent, others took advantage of brand partnerships. But Scheana Shay turned to her music to share her feelings.
Scheana released a song titled “Apples” that was all about Rachel Leviss. After Rachel gifted Scheana a restraining order, the “Good as Gold” singer hit back with her diss track. She referred to Rachel as “a narcissistic psycho” in the song.
Scheana is still “Boy Crazy”
Scheana shared a teaser for her new song, “Boy Crazy” on Instagram. She once again collaborated with the 27’s, who also worked on “Apples.” At the start of the video, Scheana entered the room and said, “Kevin [Franklin], you’re not going to believe what Max [Boyens] called me today,” Scheana said. “He said I’m boy crazy.” As you may recall, Max was part of the Season 8 cast before he was fired along with Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, and Brett Caprioni for alleged racist behavior. And Max and Scheana dated for a hot second.
Kevin asked, “Well…are you?” Scheana paused before replying, “Am I? That’s not the point! He doesn’t get to call me that.”
Naturally, Kevin asked if the songstress wanted to pour her feelings into a song. “Yeah. We should do that,” Scheana responded. After Kevin kicked off a drum beat, Scheana hopped in the recording booth.
“Six-pack abs and DM slides. Used to give me butterflies. Late-night calls on summer nights. Another day, another guy,” Scheana sang. “Like Shawn and Adam, John and Max. Used to give me heart attacks. Had to leave them in the past. Now when they call I don’t holla back.”
Fans gave their opinions of Scheana’s newest bop in the comments. “Can she make ONE song that’s NOT tacky and doesn’t have hella autotune??” a follower wrote. Another posted, “Sheana’s music is so bad that it’s good. Cringy and catchy.” That remark caught Scheana’s attention. “I’ll take that as a compliment!” she wrote. And one user called Scheana “the President of Bop Nation.”
Plus, Scheana received some love from Pump Rules co-stars Katie, Ariana, and Ally Lewber. Paige DeSorbo of Summer House also voiced her support.
Next time, let’s hear a love song about Scheana’s husband, Brock Davies. Just to switch it up.
Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules premieres on Bravo on Tuesday, Jan. 30, at 8 p.m.
