Real Housewives of Orange County alum Alexis Bellino has a relatively new boyfriend. That man happens to be the ex of Shannon Beador, John Janssen. Lex and Shannon don’t know each other and they never filmed RHOC together, yet somehow now everything Alexis does is a slight against Shannon.
I suppose it must sting Bravo offered Alexis an orange for Season 18. She hasn’t announced whether she will appear or not, but in the interim, she’s living her life. Recently Alexis celebrated her birthday and Johnny J was by her side. Unlike with Shannon, things seem to be going smoothly. Also unlike Shannon, Johnny J’s kids aren’t screaming at Lex in the middle of a bar. But if Alexis shares pics of her life, is that rubbing it in Shannon’s face?
The social media blame game
Fans of Shannon are feeling some type of way about Alexis’ social media display of her birthday festivities. However, it’s not Lex’s responsibility to moderate her social media content to spare anyone’s feelings. Recently the RHOC vet shared a bunch of photos on Instagram detailing her birthday.
Johnny J took her for a jaunt at the Surf & Sand Resort in Laguna Beach and posted some pics. The caption read, “Living a life forever young. Thank you to all who made it amazingly special, especially my kiddos. Feeling loved, grateful and blessed. Love you all!!!”
On her Instagram Story, Lex added a photo where she’s kissing John and addressed anyone not pleased with her current relationship status. “This man makes me know we can take this world on together. Haters… go away! You ain’t touching this PYT.” Listen, I know it’s a lot but we’ve all acted goofy in the first three months of a relationship.
The photo with a nod to John’s kids is what has people getting all up in arms. “The absolute fav part of my bday celebration (just missing J’s kiddos).” Nowhere on this post do I see, “And also haha to Shannon Beador.”
Here’s what, we can’t make everything Alexis does about Shannon, it’s simply not realistic. While Shan is a player in the main game, she also has her own things to deal with. Hopefully she’s working on healing herself instead of worrying about anything else.
Filming for Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18 is currently in progress. Alexis’ orange remains a mystery.
